Meals & snacks

We are pleased to be able to offer a hot lunch as an optional extra at £2.50 per day. This consists of a main meal and a pudding.

Lunch can be booked via the MCAS (My Child at School) app in advance. Please contact the School Office if you require any further information.

Children attending all day, or the afternoon session from 12 noon, who have not ordered a hot meal will require a packed lunch.

Snacks will be provided.

We encourage all parents to provide named water bottles so that they can drink throughout the day.

We are able to offer breakfast for an additional charge of £1.10 and tea for children attending all day for an additional charge of £1.60. Please speak to the preschool staff to arrange this.

Clothing

Preschool children do not need to wear uniform, however we strongly encourage them to wear practical clothes. Please note that the children will get messy throughout the day and need to wear sensible shoes that they are able to fasten themselves, no open toes please.

Children will be learning outside in all weathers, so a named waterproof coat or all in one is essential every day.  It would be useful to also have a spare pair of wellies in the Pre-school and/or a sunhat and suncream on sunny days.

We ask that children have spare clothing, including pants and socks that are named in a named bag, in case of accidents.
